Eli Parsley, Pianist
Eli Parsley is a junior at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, studying music education with a concentration in strings. As a cellist and a pianist, he uses his experience to teach young children about music. Eli intends on becoming an orchestra director for any school at the secondary level, and he plans to continue his career as a church pianist and orchestral cellist.
Eli currently enjoys teaching his sixty string students in group classes at UT through the University’s string project program. He also enjoys teaching private students, filling in for churches in need of pianists, and going to public bluegrass jams around Knoxville. Outside of music, his hobbies include running, hiking, spending time with friends, and watching movies and documentaries. Eli’s number one goal is to use music as a tool to help people to create relationships built on purpose and compassion.
